No ei vaineskaan. Ainakaan minulta ette saa öljyä painimista varten. LAN-tiimi esittää ylpeänä(?) tapahtuman joka syntyi Fargaten sanaleikinhuuruisessa päässä, Turpasaunat!

Tuona kauniina itsenäisyyspäivää seuraavan päivän iltapäivänä keräännymme Mäkelänkadun saunalle ottamaan videopelaajasta mittaa hikisimmässä 1v1 kamppailussa mitä videopelimaailma tarjoaa [citation needed], nimittäin taistelupelien muodossa! Tapahtumassa on tarjolla Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (itemit, stage hazardit ja FfA vain friendlyissä ja silloinkin omalla vastuulla), Guilty Gear -Strive- ja Tekken 7! Kuulemma johonkin vessaan ilmestyy myös 1kpl Melty Bloodeja, mutta tämä ei omaa yhtä virallista statusta tarjonnassa, eikä poverty Meltystä ole turnausta.

Tuntuuko siltä että kiinnostaisi, muttet osaa? Ei hätää, sauna on avoinna myös niille jotka tulevat "vain katsomaan" tapahtumaa (yleisö tekee peleistä hauskempaa!), eikä mikään estä leikkimielistä koitosta vaikka muiden vastaavien aloittelijoiden kanssa. LAN-tiimi tekee parhaansa toimittaakseen ylimääräisiä lainaohjaimia paikan päälle, joten omia ei ole pakko tuoda :)

Tapahtuma kestää koko illan pelien oletettavasti lopulta jäädessä taka-alalle saunan edessä, mutta "myöhässä" saapumistakaan ei tarvitse pelätä. Ainoa mahdollisesti missattava asia on leikkimieliset turnaukset palkintoineen. Tervetuloa!

LAN-team proudly presents, the Fighting Game Sauna!

On the beautiful afternoon following the Finnish Independence Day we gather at Mäkelänkadun Sauna to find out once and for all who is the greatest video gamer in the environment built for such feats of strength, the pinnacle of video game 1v1s, fighting games [citation needed]! The selection for the evening offers Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (items, stage hazards and FfA only in friendlies under own responsibility), Guilty Gear -Strive- and Tekken 7. I also heard someone is aiming to uphold the legacy of Melty Blood by setting it up in the toilets or something? Poverty Melty is not part of the more official selection however, and there is no tournament about it.

Already feeling like you'd want to, but don't have the skill? No worries, the sauna is also open for people that come along "just to spectate" (audience is what makes gaming great!), and nothing is stopping one from just joining in, what is there to lose but a match or two? Everyone starts somewhere! LAN-team will also do their best to bring extra controllers along, so bringing one's own is not a strict requirement :)

The event lasts through the entire evening with the games slowly being phased out by the sauna part, but arriving "late" is no great concern! The only thing that one might be able to miss entirely are the light-hearted tournaments for the present games and the awards ceremony. Welcome!
